After months of hard work, Shield of Heritage is finally a registered CBO. The milestone is ours. From reviving Ngao Museum to now standing on solid ground, we proved that youth-led heritage work is unstoppable.
Our meeting at Ngao Museum welcomed youth from across Tana River County. They came from villages where poverty runs deep, but hope runs deeper. Together we committed to restoring the delta and turning our heritage into economic opportunity.
We refuse to stay silent as our land dries and our youth struggle. Mr. Azan Ngumbao, UNESCO World Heritage Volunteers Regional Coordinator, spoke as our patron. His presence reminded us that our movement connects to a global family of heritage guardians.
Shield of Heritage is now a legal organization, ready to grow. We invite you to join us in Tana River or wherever you call home. Become a guardian. Together, we will ensure heritage becomes identity, pride, and prosperity.
